THE SCIENCE OF COMBAT & DISCIPLINE
Training in the traditional Northern style follows a strict hierarchy. A student must master their own body before they are permitted to wield a weapon.
Body Conditioning: The foundation of Kalari. Through vigorous stretches, kicks, and complex leaping movements, the student achieves ultimate flexibility, stamina, and neuromuscular coordination.
Wooden Weapons: Once the body is mastered, students learn to channel their energy into wooden weapons. This includes the long stick (Kettukari), short stick (Muchan), and the curved Otta stick.
Metal Weapons: The lethal stage of training. Practitioners learn the precision and control required to wield swords, shields, spears, daggers, and the legendary flexible sword (Urumi).
Bare-Hand Combat: The final stage. A master learns to defend against armed attacks using only their bare hands, utilizing locks, grapples, and strikes to vital Marma points.
Step into the Kalari. Whether for fitness, discipline, or martial mastery, your journey starts here.
